What You Can Expect of the Testing
- Requires no physical exam
- Takes about 15-20 minutes
- Results are available in 7-10 days
- Is FREE, but donations are accepted to cover administrative costs
- Is available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Completely confidential
Should You Get Tested?
STIs often have no symptoms, so you may not know you have one.
You're at higher risk if you have a new partner, multiple partners, or a partner who has an STI. You may also consider the following CDC recommendations:
- Everyone ages 13 to 64 years should be tested at least once for HIV.
- All sexually active women younger than 25 years should be tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia every year.
- Women 25 years and older with any of the risk factors listed above should be tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia every year.
- Anyone who shares injection drug equipment should be tested at least once a year for HIV.
